4-time cancer survivor and singer-songwriter Ryan Hamner has just released his new record, Survivors Survive on itunes. The record features the title track, Survivors Survive, a song for survivors of cancer. In the same week, Hamner also launched 2surviveonline.com, a website for cancer survivors and anyone affected by cancer. The website features stories of survivors, 2survive merchandise and a community page with helpful information where survivors can share, connect and educate themselves.

Ryan, who also wrote and recorded, Remission (The Survivors Anthem!) in 2010, shortly after returning home from his Hear the Heart tour, wanted to write THE song for cancer survivors. So he teamed up with heavy-weight producer Jeff Tomei (Matchbox 20, Edwin McCain) to cut the track Survivors Survive. Ryan says, This is a song that I think everyone who has been touched by cancer can relate to, not just survivors, but family members and friends of survivors too. Mel Majoros from the “The Cancer Warrior” went on to say, Ryans song definitely captures the emotions of what it is like to be a cancer survivor, from diagnosis through remission. This is a must hear for anyone affected by cancer!

Ryan plans to continue performing for patients and doing what he can to help give hope to those battling cancer. Ryans message is one of positivity, perseverance and encouraging patients to stay strong.
